Cambodia .. Sihanoukville

The sunbeds at the hotel were sunken into the pool. Cool effect.

There were a few other issues which were not cool. The safe in our room was not bolted down. I gave Glynis a demonstration of me walking away with it tucked under one arm.

The basin plug was also jammed so could not empty the basin. The maintenance guy spent an hour pulling the basin to bits and seemed pleased with his repair. He sauntered off and left behind the keys for every single room in the hotel. Quick as a flash I donned my cat suit with integral burglary mask. In another reality I took the keys back to reception and reminded them of the need for security with the guests belongings.

So far this is my personal best for spotting bodies on scooter. Come on Penang accept the challenge, you know you can do better.

I caught a scooter into town. It was dodgy and even the little old man riding it seemed concerned. Having a good mooch around town  then it started raining. No problems. I would just buy an umbrella.

Stepped outside with my new umbrella. Opened it up and a shower of broken umbrella parts fell to the floor. To be honest I was hoping for more mileage.

I picked up the pieces and with some ingenuity managed to make something that looked remarkably like an umbrella.

Further on the walk I had to go round a large pile of dirt on the street. A group of ten workmen were busy emptying  wicker baskets full of dirt onto the pile. I stopped to check it out and one said something. I don't know what it was but all eleven off us were standing in the rain cracking up with laughter.  I think they liked my umbrella

On the beach people were releasing latterns that floated up into the sky.

Of course we were having none of that I tried to destroy everything with out super charged roman candles.
