by the sea
In the distance Mount Kinabalu stands at 4,096 metres (13,438 ft) above sea level. One of the most enduring memories of our stay was observing the reaction of those who had climbed it. Somewhere in the pain and sweat they had developed an affinity with this rock. I caught mountain envy.
