Nice room overlooking the river. The river was a little smelly at times.

Hotel had a cosmopolitan Easter island feel

Cycle Rickshaws with very powerful sound systems. Its a disco on wheels.

So much history and architecture in Malacca

It was overrun by the Portuguese , Dutch , British , Japanese , British then back to the Malay.

Arrows point to Mecca so Muslims know which direction to pray.

The river is now mainly used for tourist boats.  There was a fisherman outside our hotel.with a throw net. His first try and he netted a nice fish.
